Description:
The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for all administrative tasks including: onboarding, preparing for all meetings, coordinating all HR related telephone calls, and maintaining up to date and accurate personnel files. The Human Resources Specialist also assists employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- The Human Resources Specialist coordinates the new employee onboarding process.
- Conduct Orientation and complete all onboarding processes.
- Assists employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
- Enter new employees on Workday and Home Care Home Base, as necessary. Add and maintain HCHB Worker Console the field staff renewables.
- Ensures all employee records are maintained and updated with new hire information or changes in employment status.
- Processes wage/salary transactions, and job status changes in Workday promptly.
- Answers incoming calls for HR department
- Participates in and assists with culture activities.
- Promotes and lives the organization’s core values and acts as a cultural champion.
- Responds to reference checks and verifications of employment status.
- Assists with HR projects.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ Human Resources experience, healthcare preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred. Emphasis in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not required.
- Independently develops own assignments/tasks/projects based on agency HR-needs identified by or in collaboration with leaders.
- Experience in Workday preferred.
- Professional written/oral communication.
- Positively interacts with any level employee.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
