Summary
We are looking for an IT tech who is an expert with MS Access, Excel, and Sharepoint to join our team and support our data management and collaboration needs. You will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting databases, spreadsheets, and sites using these tools. You will also provide training and assistance to other staff members on how to use them effectively.
Responsibilities
- Create and update MS Access databases to store and manipulate data for various projects and reports.
- Design and implement queries, forms, reports, macros, and VBA modules using MS Access.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security by performing data validation, backup, and recovery tasks.
- Develop and maintain MS Excel spreadsheets to perform data analysis, calculations, and visualization using formulas, functions, charts, and pivot tables.
- Integrate MS Access and MS Excel data with other sources and applications using ODBC, SQL, and VBA.
- Create and manage MS Sharepoint sites to facilitate team collaboration, document sharing, and workflow automation.
- Customize MS Sharepoint sites using web parts, lists, libraries, forms, and workflows.
- Provide technical support and training to other staff members on how to use MS Access, Excel, and Sharepoint.
- Document and communicate best practices and standards for using MS Access, Excel, and Sharepoint.
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience working with MS Access, Excel, and Sharepoint.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Access database design development and administration.
- Proficient in MS Excel data analysis, manipulation, and visualization.
- Familiar with MS Sharepoint site creation, management, and customization.
- Strong skills in SQL VBA, and ODBC.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Azure experience is a bonus
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
