Assistant General Manager – Big Sky
Job Description
The Assistant General Manager is responsible for overall operation to include property care, owner, guest and employee satisfaction for our portfolio of vacation rental properties in Bozeman and Big Sky, MT. This leadership position is responsible for leading a team of Operations staff and Vendors operating in the field caring for the cleanliness and condition of homes. - Oversee the entire Bozeman and Big Sky operation currently consisting of 170 vacation rental properties
- Responsible for the leadership of the Operations team (currently 7 people) to ensure that their daily checklists are completed thoroughly and accurately each shift. That they are properly dressed and professional in appearance. That they are properly trained, held accountable to brand standards, and operate as a team.
- Responsible for maintaining supply and inventory par levels, ordering, and credit card management.
- Provide exceptional service to guests and ensuring your direct reports do the same; quickly addressing feedback in a professional and accurate manner.
- Identify issues quickly and creatively to resolve problems in a kind, professional manner.
- Be the expert in the Stay Montana systems used; ensuring they are being fully utilized for efficiency, accuracy and accountability.
- Collaborates with Director of Guest Services to ensure that known maintenance issues are proactively communicated prior to arrival, issues arising during a guest stay are addressed immediately, and 5-star experience is achieved for each guest.
- Collaborates with Director of Owner Services with on-boarding new properties
- Responsible for care, condition and maintenance of Belgrade and Big Sky Offices, vehicle fleet, assigned mobile devices for self and employees, uniforms, and other company property.
- Work hours will require weekends for this position. We have been successful with a set 5 day a week schedule and two consecutive days off for each associate.
- Work hours may require after-hours, holidays, and on-call availability.

Job Specifications:
- Short term rental experience required
- 2+ years Management experience preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2- or 4-year college preferred
- Valid Drivers License required
- Montana Property Management License preferred
- Background check and driving record required
Compensation:
- Pay rate based on experience

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
