Reports to: Administration Manager
Position Summary: Responsible for the kitchen and food service at all times to include, but is not limited to, all matters in the areas of food, menus, special dietary needs, cleanliness, and mealtimes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Produce and post meal menus two weeks in advance
· Accommodate special food requirements for patients, as needed, per clinical direction.
· Estimate food consumption and procure food inventory in compliance with food service budget
· Weekly shopping on designated dates as scheduled
· Proper handling and storage of raw products
· Quality assurance of all menu items and snacks
· Prepare and present meals and snack per menu and time schedule
· Refill beverage machine as needed
· Organize and maintain emergency food supply
· Oversight and responsibility for maintaining a sanitary food preparation condition.
· Maintenance and repair coordination for all kitchen equipment
· Keeps kitchen, freezers, and refrigerators clean, sanitary, organized and up to State and County guidelines at all times
· Meals are to be set on the table before mealtimes
· Responsible for daily inspection of kitchen’s cleanliness and sanitary conditions
· Only the cook or assigned staff is allowed to unlock food cabinets
Qualifications:
· Must have at least one (1) year clean and sober if in recovery from addiction.
· Must maintain current certifications for this position:
a. Food Handling b. CPR c. First Aid
· One (1) year prior experience in a food handling position for large groups.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
