POSITION SUMMARY
Customer Service Representative responsibilities will consist of all facets of customer support, including taking incoming customer calls, responding to customer emails, researching historical records, completing quotations, and booking orders, ensuring accuracy in a timely manner.

Education: High school diploma at a minimum. Two-year degree preferred in technical or business-related field.
Previous Experience: 2+ years in a sales customer service-related position with a strong technical background required.
Skills: Strong communication skills with an ability to work in a technical environment while learning rapidly. Ability to function very efficiently within an ERP system for order entry including follow-up and customer service before during and after the order. Experience communicating over the phone as well as the use of email. The ability to work independently, organize and prioritize tasks and deliver results with limited guidance. Strong skills in the use of common software including Microsoft Suite required.
Physical/Mental Characteristics: Must possess a level temperament in daily activities while performing multiple tasks and providing customer service.
Equipment Operated: Personal computer and all related software; general office equipment
Licenses/Certifications Required: None.
JOB DUTIES - ESSENTIAL
1. Receive customer requests for spare parts/tooling orders. Enter these orders in the Haven ERP system. Track and follow up on all open orders as needed.
2. Coordinate with the Plant Manager or President to determine pricing and provide quotations to customers for non-standard parts/tools.
3. Monitor the status of all open orders to ensure they ship on time. Follow up with customers frequently and routinely.
4. Assist in management support of third-party product lines including pricing, inventory planning and vendor communications.
5. Maintain customer contact information in OptiPro.
6. Write purchase orders to purchase aftermarket items for customers, follow up with vendors and customer as needed.
7. Maintaining drop ship orders for customers.
8. Prepare and monitor stock returns.

OTHER FUNCTIONS
1. Direct the customer inquiries to the proper personnel for help with service-related issues.
2. Assist in developing and documenting procedures for the department for processing customer orders and responding to technical questions.
3. Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

- Machining: 2 years (Preferred)
