At InHome Therapy, a growth-stage healthcare company, we are seeking a Senior IT Specialist & Technical Lead. This role is heavily focused on hands-on IT tasks and technical leadership, particularly in the development and maintenance of our custom ERP solutions hosted on AWS. The ideal candidate is a versatile, proactive technical expert who is adept at ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of data and supporting the integration of technological platforms, including our proprietary EMR system.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Direct the technical aspects of our web-based projects from development through to deployment, using React for frontend and Laravel for backend, hosted on AWS. Ensure high performance, reliability, and alignment with business goals.
- Systems Support and Enhancement: Collaborate closely with our third-party partner to support, maintain, and enhance key systems. Monitor security trends across our infrastructure and personal devices.
- Technical Integration and Support: Work with third-party development teams and internal departments to integrate technical practices into our operations, provide end-user support, and respond to technical incident reports.
- Security and Compliance: Oversee and ensure compliance with security programs, adhering to frameworks such as HIPAA and SOC II Compliance.
- Technical Problem Solving: Handle the set-up, maintenance, and troubleshooting of technological systems across the organization, identifying issues and implementing solutions promptly.
- Innovation and Updates: Continuously learn about and integrate the latest in healthcare security protocols and technologies, recommending and implementing improvements to our systems.
- SaaS and Technical Oversight: Oversee all technical needs and the management of SaaS solutions utilized by the company, ensuring optimal performance and strategic integration of new technologies.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; OR equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 6 years of demonstrated IT experience.
- Strong foundation in project management, with experience in managing technical projects in a cloud based environment.
- Proficiency in front and backend technologies, with an understanding of APIs, Laravel, React Native (mobile), React, Next and POSTGRESQL.
- Expertise in managing and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure, particularly on AWS platforms, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
- Expertise with information security management frameworks, with a strong understanding of HIPAA and SOC II Compliance.
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum development practices.
