Job Summary
Kinloch Consulting Group is actively seeking an Employee Benefits Account Manager, a pivotal role on our team, to cultivate and maintain client relationships. The Employee Benefits Account Manager will tend to client day-to-day needs and work creatively to resolve issues while meeting and exceeding client expectations.
Employee Benefits Account Manager Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma; college degree preferred
- 5+ years’ health and welfare benefits experience; broker experience preferred
- Individual Producers License in Health and Life Insurances required
- Independent worker with excellent relationship-building and communication skills
- Exceptional presentation skills; proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills and high level of attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize projects and deadlines effectively
- Adept at identifying problems and creating resolutions
- Ability to travel to clients and HQ office meetings
- Sagitta familiarity a plus

Employee Benefits Account Manager Job Responsibilities
- Develop, foster, and maintain client relationships to ensure business retention
- Gather, understand, and analyze client needs, including future benefits planning and integration needs with vendors and carriers
- Oversee clients’ benefits programs and renewal processes
- Ensure all policy applications and amendments meet employer and employee expectations
- Verify that issued contracts are consistent with agreed-upon policies
- Manage key client events such as open enrollment, new hire orientations, and communication strategies
- Address daily client needs; identify issues and provide efficient and swift resolution
- Maintain knowledge of wellbeing, benefits administration best practices, vendors, tools, and solutions
- Travel to client sites as necessary for effective account management
