Shipping/Receiving Warehouse Coordinator, Affton, MO.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing the logistics of the transportation and delivery of goods while performing within the freight budget.
Coordinates with carriers and freight forwarders to schedule appointments.
Create and maintain daily freight appointment calendar.
Set up and manage transportation for Inbound/outbound freight.
Collaborate and maintain a relationship with customer service and export for all carrier requirements.
Ensure customer requirements are being met for each carrier load and communicate with carriers.
Manage required paperwork for each load, and communication of requirements to the customer.
Creating, review, and verify data on Packlists, BOL's, and supportive paperwork is correct for all requirements.
Check in all inbound and outbound carriers, confirm their documentation, and address any concerns.
Manage discrepancies and claims with the carriers.
Manage recycling and feed waste through our approved vendor.
Assists in direction of daily tasks by leading the team of warehouse personnel.
Assist with pulling and checking orders in our freezer, cooler, and warehouse storage locations.
Assist with pulling orders for UPS and ambient LTL shipments.
Assist the Quality department with issues and management of the restricted hold product.
Assist with putting product away in the cooler and freezer in the absence of the freezer/cooler lead.
Manage the transportation of the carriers/LTL carriers as they arrive for the inbound and outbound appointments between our two warehouses.

Requirements:
High School diploma is required with some college coursework being highly desirable; A minimum of one year of office experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting and/or a Traffic or Shipping/Receiving role.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications such as Microsoft Office Word and Excel is required.
Experience with ERP system is an added plus.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are required.
The ability to juggle multiple priorities and adapt well to change is required.
Forklift certified. Ability to drive Stand-up reach trucks; Stand-Up and Sit-Down Forklifts.
