Expectations in this role:
- Accountability: Accountability is an obligation or willingness to accept responsibility for one's actions. Understanding that you are in charge and responsible for the condition of the site. The dirty tunnel is not the tunnel crew's fault, but you must hold them and yourself accountable as a leader.
- Situational Awareness: You will have to be completely aware of your surroundings. You need to understand where customers, crew members, and cars are. Standard operating procedures must be followed.
- Duty to Lead: You must lead by example for new and old crew members. Ensure that you are trying to help your team. Training, discussing something you learned in school, LeadForm, and Foundations are all part of your example. You will have further opportunities to lead in our company if you lead well.
- Time Management/Productivity: Ensure you manage your team's productivity. This includes taking breaks and completing Jolt tasks on time.
- Personal Leadership: The hardest person you will ever lead is yourself. Reflect often on your growth as a leader by journaling the journey. Don’t be nervous. Seek out mentors to help you along the way.
