Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper for a Construction Company. This position will provide support to various departments within the company, assisting with administrative tasks and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting and is proficient in Quickbooks and excel, and day to day operations of a construction office.
Duties:
- Perform accounts receivable duties, including invoicing clients, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding balances
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliation and account reconciliation
- Provide general administrative support, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence
- Maintain filing systems and ensure documents are properly organized and accessible
- Assist with data entry and record keeping
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Bookkeeper
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in Quickbooks, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.50 - $25.00 per hour
