Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper with the flexibility to perform Administrative assistant duties in addition to the expectations of a Full Charge Bookkeeper. As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our company's financial records and transactions. This is a vital role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of accounting principles.
Responsibilities:
- Perform full cycle bookkeeping duties
- Conduct account analysis to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
- Utilize accounting software, such as QuickBooks, to record and track financial data
- Complete bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of account balances
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
Skills:
- Good Organizational Skills
- Ability to manage people
- Good Communication skills
- Experience with account analysis and reconciliation
- Proficient in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks
- Proficient in maintaining spreadsheets, such as Google Sheets & Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping
- Strong analytical skills for budgeting and financial analysis purposes
- Previous experience in accounting is required (5 years experience is preferred)
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
