The Site Superintendent is responsible for monitoring the roofing crew and ensuring work is done safely and productively and per the drawings and specifications for the project. This position will create a daily log showing production for the day, take pictures of the various stages of the work, perform inventory counts to ensure no material shortages, and ensure proper jobsite safety is setup and being followed.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Direct the setup of safety for each project and monitor that all requirements are being followed
- Create daily logs documenting how much work was completed and where the work took place
- Take photos and upload into CRM of all phases of work for each day
- Oversee daily work performance of the project
- Create and maintain as-built drawings for field authorized changes
- Perform weekly toolbox talks and record the attendees
- Schedule/order equipment, dumpsters, permits, etc.
- Attend site progress meetings
- Receive material deliveries, stage material for daily needs, and perform inventory counts to verify material needs for the project
- Create weekly forecasts for production based on crew’s productivity and provide information to superintendent for weekly production meetings
- Review weather forecasts to plan work schedules
- Ensure work is water tight at the end of every day – NO LEAKS
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 3+ years of commercial roofing & sheet metal experience, with knowledge of all low slope and steep slope roof systems
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and safety setup
- Competent use of computers, tablets, and phones to upload/connect to CRM and project reporting
- Communicate with Superintendent and Project managers about projects
- Be professional with co-workers, supervisors, and clients

- Truck with fuel card
Software Needs:
- Office suite – Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Acculynx – phone/tablet app and browser-based access
- Google docs – including gmail and google drive
Work Expectations:
This is a salary position with a typical Monday – Friday schedule and working 10-hour days. There may be times when it is necessary to work weekends to get a project back on schedule or to meet a special requirement of a project.
