Job Title: Onboarding/Recruitment Specialist
Hourly pay: $20 per hour
Contract Length: 6 months
Location: Morrisville, North Carolina-Mostly remote with some onsite work days!
Hours: Monday through Friday from 8-5pm
Onboarding Time: 2-3 Weeks
Job Summary:
The Recruiting Specialist ensures all required pre-hire tasks are completed and new hires are ready for their first day of work. The Recruiting Specialist coordinates and interacts with pending hires, Recruiters, Hiring Managers, external vendors, and internal partners. The role will provide technical and transactional assistance and high-level customer service to internal and external customers throughout the hiring process.
Description of Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of job postings on various platforms.
- Coordinates and monitors the initiation and completion of all contingent offer requirements for pending hires.
- Schedule interviews and manage candidate calendars, ensuring a smooth interview process.
- Coordinate pre-employment checks, reference checks, and verification of candidate credentials.
- Act as a point of contact for candidates, responding to inquiries and providing updates on the recruitment process.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates to ensure a positive experience and timely follow-up.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records and files by legal and organizational standards. Assist Talent Acquisition (TA) and Hiring Managers to ensure employment process compliance while providing updates on candidate status.
- Ensure the completeness and accuracy of candidate paperwork and onboarding documents. Arrange travel and accommodations for candidates, if required, for interviews or onboarding.
- Coordinate and schedule recruitment events, such as job fairs or open houses.
- Assist in the collection and management of recruitment data and metrics. Prepare reports and presentations on recruitment activity as requested.
- Ensure that recruitment processes adhere to legal and organizational policies.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the candidate experience and recruitment efficiency.
- Respond to routine and complex questions from applicants, employees, TA managers, and recruiters, including researching appropriate information when requested.
Education Requirements: High diploma required.
Professional Experience Requirements: Requires 1+ years of recruitment specialist experience with various ATS. Previous Human Resources or Recruitment experience is preferred. Knowledge,
Skills, and Abilities Requirements: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. * Previous applicant tracking system experience is highly preferred. * Effective problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to use good judgment and maintain confidentiality. * Ability to coordinate multiple priorities.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
