We are hiring a Senior Manager of Retail Learning to support retail growth and increase profitability by researching, developing, designing, and implementing training programs for the retail field organization. You will ensure success in the execution of all training programs and will produce instructional content (e-learning, instructor led, and blended) for product knowledge, operational processes, sales generation, and customer service. You will report into the Director of Retail Employee Experience. This is a remote position that will require occasional travel.
About the Job:

Oversee selling / service training program for stores, including developing content and facilitating workshops

Manage Retail’s Learning Management System (LMS) and mobile e-learning platform, including launch of new platform
-
Provide recommendations on all operational and technological training needs, including providing expertise on training methods for store team members

Manage product knowledge strategy, including supervising the creation of tools for our seasonal product assortments

Develop training for Home Office Retail partners, including leadership development and functional training
-
Support Situational Leadership II as the primary leadership development platform for LSA Retail
-
Oversee field onboarding programs, from Stylist level through District Manager
-
Includes managing the field onboarding program focused at the Store Management level
-
Oversee field training program, including market-level trainers across North America
-
Identify training and developmental needs within the field and Home Office organization both for organizational and individual needs

Design and implement training programs across the retail organization
-
Coordinates with vendors on outsourced projects, including: creating goals and preliminary design documents, design review, project management, designs support documents and communication

Develop and manage roll out strategy for new and re-launching programs

Measure impact of learning solutions; tracks metrics; Return on investment

Track and communicate training costs and budget

Maintain knowledge of instructional design and adult learning best practices and trends.

Evaluate training programs to recommend continued improvements

Provide constructive, applicable feedback

Manage several competing priorities, often within a short timeframe

Manage Training Specialist and Field Training Lead, including project management and overall development
About You:
-
Bachelor ‘s Degree in sociology, psychology or related field or equivalent work experience
-
5-8 years in corporate training with focus on management of large scale training programs
-
Strategic mindset while being able to implement a tactical level
-
Ability to understand complex business situations and communicate them in an easy-to-understand, Levi’s® and Dockers® voice
-
Ability to balance support of home office goals with empathy for competing demands for retail field staff
-
Written and oral communications

Excellent project management skills with experience of successful completion and evaluation of success

Experience in Instructional Design and large group facilitation

Exceptional public speaking and group facilitation skills

The expected starting salary range for this role is $116,300 - $175,900. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
