POSITION SUMMARY
Front Desk Receptionist directs people both externally and internally to the appropriate contact via telephone using a multi-line phone system or in person.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greets visitors; ensures a positive welcoming environment at the front desk and entrance.
- Answers telephone and directs calls to proper individuals using multi-line phone systems.
- Assists all callers and visitors in a courteous and helpful manner.
- Follow incoming inquiry script.
- Determine the reason for their call, and answer questions or directing their request to a different department as necessary.
- Assist with overall maintenance of the organization and its offices.
- Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Ability to operate standard office equipment, including but not limited to, computers and telephone systems.
- Demonstrated computer literacy skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as applicable.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Possess excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to multi-task.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
