Role Overview:
The Registrar is a key administrative position responsible for maintaining the academic records of all students. This role involves overseeing the registration process, managing student data, ensuring compliance with educational policies, and facilitating effective communication across departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in educational administration, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to student success.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the registration process for new and continuing students, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
Maintain accurate and confidential academic records for all students.
Develop and implement policies and procedures related to registration, grading, and graduation in accordance with institutional and regulatory guidelines.
Serve as the primary point of contact for students, faculty, and staff for inquiries related to academic records, registration, and graduation requirements.
Generate reports and provide data analysis related to enrollment, retention, and academic progress.
Lead the team in the Registrar's office, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high levels of performance and service.
Stay updated with the latest trends and regulations in educational administration to continuously improve processes and compliance.
Organize and administer records, course registration, and graduation functions, including transcript evaluations, to maximize student service while ensuring workflow efficiency and effectiveness.
Participate as a member of the Senior Leadership Team and lead initiatives as directed by the Chief Academic Officer
Collaborate with the Dean of Education to coordinate, evaluate, and certify all graduation applications.
Responsible for collecting, recording, maintaining, and reporting student records within FERPA guidelines (e.g., grades, course registration data, transcripts, verifications, audits).
Provide leadership and develop recommendations for implementing technology applications to enhance Registration and Records services.
Maintain the accuracy, integrity, privacy, and security of academic records in Salesforce.
Apply academic policies and follow procedures for compliance with federal, state, and regulatory requirements.
Provide enrollment verifications to external agencies as requested.
Initiate status changes for Campus Withdrawals, Return from LOA, and Reentries.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Proven experience in a registrar's office or similar academic administration role.
Strong understanding of educational policies, accreditation standards, and compliance requirements.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Proficient in the use of student information systems and database management. Salesforce experience preferred.
Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups, including students, faculty, and administrative staff.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
