District Manager Job Description
The District Manager will lead a group of up to 7 restaurants and report to the Operating Partner. They are responsible for consistent day to day operations, along with continuous people development.
District Manager Expectations include, but are not limited to:
- Ongoing training/development of General Managers, Assistant Managers and Shift Managers
- Validate interviewing, hiring, and onboarding practices
- Bench Development/Succession Planning
- Execution of administrative plans and systems (Complaint resolution, approval processes, etc.)
- Period based business planning
- Accountability for all controllable costs within budget including, but not limited to:Food Cost
Labor Cost
Supplies Cost
Repairs and Maintenance Costs
- YOY Sales, Transactions, and Profit Growth
- Safe and Deposit Management
- Accountability for all Operational Metrics including, but not limited to:Overall Satisfaction (OSAT)
Speed of Service (SOS)/Pull Forward Rate (PF%)
Restaurant Evaluation Visits (REV)
Popeyes Academy Training %
Customer Complaints through appropriate platform
- District-wide compliance of all Popeyes mandates
- Marketing rollout planning and execution
- Community outreach
- Any tasks assigned by direct supervisors
Tasks Required per Period:
- Inventory audit every Monday – 1 per restaurant per period
- Safe Audit - 1 per restaurant per period
- Weekly approval of Time Cards in each restaurant
- Approval of all invoices
- Approval of R&M expenses up to $1,000
- Execution of REV Self-Evaluation – 1 per restaurant per period
District Manager Work Schedule Expectations:
- 5 day/50 hour work week75% of time spent in restaurant (~37 hours)
25% of time spent on admin/planning (~13 hours)
- Two opening shifts per week (Monday doing inventory and 1 other day)
- Minimum of 2 dinner shifts per week
- Minimum of 1 Saturday per period
- Minimum of 1 Sunday worked per period
- Reply to calls/texts in an appropriate timeframe
- Reply to Emails minimum of twice daily [Morning & Afternoon]
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
