IntraNerve Neuroscience (INN) is seeking a new clinical team member in the Los Angeles, CA area. INN is a nationally established leader in IONM services and has been accredited by the Joint Commission in Ambulatory Care (Telehealth) since 2010. We are dedicated to providing the highest level and continuity in IONM for the patients and surgeons we serve. INN employees are our key to our success and patient safety. Position Highlights

Case Types: Neuro, ENT, Spine, Vascular
CNIM Requirement: CNIM Certification Required.
Team Atmosphere: Work with world renown neurotologists and neurosurgeons along with Work within an established team of Audiologist and Surgical Neurophysiologists in the Southern California region. Rotating call and opportunity to train on advanced cases in the region.

Other Position Expectations & Responsibilities

Maintains availability for case coverage during normal working hours.
Variable work schedule that may change from week to week, dependent upon case load, surgeon’s availability, research or training needs, creating situations that may require minimal notice to be available for a case, meetings and/or research assignments.
Variable work schedule that may include extended hours in the OR beyond normal business hours or a typical 8-hour workday.
Adheres to regional on-call policies including working nights, weekends, or holidays on a rotating basis.
Use of a cell phone for ‘on-call’ status during non-scheduled work time to cover add-on and emergency cases.
Required to maintain focus and clinical judgement at all times during procedures.
Participate in conference calls, grand rounds and team meetings as requested by team, manager, or business office.
Ensures timely response to and completion of requests by the Business Operations Office and INN Management via email and/or cell phone. Requests will include but are not limited to travel, credentialing, scheduling, compliance and education.
Participates in continuing education to maintain CNIM as required by ABRET.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics

Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathologic processes and aseptic techniques.
Knowledge of electrophysiological equipment used in performing tests on patients along with correct procedures followed in conducting tests and examinations.
Ability to evaluate various electronic and neurophysiologic waveforms.
Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to interact with medical staff, patients, visitors, and other hospital employees.
Displays vigilance in infection control protocol including hand hygiene, aseptic and sterile technique and low-level disinfection procedures.
Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and technology skills.

Physical Demands

Possible exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials with rare likelihood of harm if established health precautions are followed.
Possible exposure to radiation, requiring the use of lead vests (weighing 7 – 25 lbs) for extended periods of time.
Use of personal protective equipment such as surgical clothing, gloves, glasses, bouffant cap, masks, face shields, and dosimeter.
Work requires lifting and carrying of up to 50 lbs and frequent pushing and pulling of up to 20 lbs including carrying of supplies and large pieces of equipment.
Work requires prolonged sitting and standing with infrequent or no breaks.
Work requires frequent walking, bending, squatting, and kneeling.
Work requires occasional twisting and turning and occasional reaching over the shoulders.
Work requires occasional need to get into awkward positions to reach cramped workspaces.
Work requires manual dexterity including but not limited to placing and securing needle electrodes.
Work requires the use of computers for extended periods of time while concentrating on monitoring screen images and typing.
Exposure to cold environment with bright lights for extended periods of time.
