Job Description: We are looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Coordinator Lead to join our team. This individual will be responsible for promoting our programs, creating engaging content, and increasing our social media presence. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media, strong marketing skills, and the ability to align content with our brand's mission and vision.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and engagement efforts.
- Create, edit, and share engaging content (text, images, video) that aligns with Color Compton's brand and mission.
- Manage and oversee social media content, ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.
- Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.
- Collaborate with other teams, such as programming and outreach, to coordinate social media efforts.
- Analyze and report on social media performance, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications.
- Engage with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.
- Assist in filming and photo editing as needed to support our content creation efforts.
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Coordinator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).
- Experience with social media analytics and tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video).
- Strong marketing skills and an understanding of how to engage with a diverse audience.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Photoshop, Canva) and video editing software.
- Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in content creation aligned with a brand’s mission and vision.
- Familiarity with community engagement and nonprofit organizations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
