Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Patient Services Representative to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative duties and patient services, ensuring smooth operations at the front desk of our clinic.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule patient appointments using eClinicalWorks or similar systems
- Manage medical records accurately and confidentially
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately
- Verify insurance information and process payments
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
Requirements:
case management/ UM . Needs (understands authorizations, denials, insurance, and would support the UR nurses)
- Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic health records systems (e.g., Epic)
GED and 2 years exp in Case mgmt.
- Proficiency in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
experience with revenue cycle
- Knowledge of clinic operations and front desk procedures

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $15.50 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
