Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Sales and Marketing to lead our efforts in driving sales growth and expanding our market presence. The ideal candidate will bring a fresh perspective and energetic approach, along with a proven track record in sales and marketing within the Pro Audio industry. This role requires a strategic thinker who can build and maintain strong relationships with resellers, partners, influencers, press and distributors while also inspiring the team to achieve ambitious goals and to develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Leadership:
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive demand for our products.
- Maintain and foster the existing relationships with key influencers — including tastemakers behind-the-scenes and online visible personas.
- Collaborate with the product development team to ensure marketing strategies align with product launches and updates.
- Manage the creation of marketing materials, including product landing pages, videos, website content, social media posts, and trade show displays.
- Oversee digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media engagement.
- Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of sales and marketing professionals.
- Set clear performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
- Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and expand market share.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential resellers and distributors.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing resellers and distributors, ensuring their needs are met and their performance is optimized.
- Ensure that channel partners amplify your central messaging
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
- Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
- Track and report on key performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve objectives.
- Brand and Customer Experience:
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all channels.
- Develop initiatives to enhance customer experience and satisfaction.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing, with a track record of success.
- A go-getter attitude with a passion for innovation and excellence.
- Strong understanding of the Pro Audio market and distribution channels.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute at a tactical level.
