The Staffing Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the scheduling of designated facility employees to meet the required staffing needs to care for the residents at the facility in a timely, cost effective, and professional manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receives and responds to all calls regarding call outs, holiday/vacation requests, and corresponds to all employee requests.
- Prepares 4-week cycle nursing master schedule by updating the employee information to the master schedule using Kronos and Excel and saving it on the shared drive.
- Tracks and verifies all employee hours, overtime, and call outs on a daily basis.
- Ability to rearrange staff schedule so that both the facility and the staffing needs are met whenever possible.
- Contact staff to fill in for vacancies or callouts on the schedules and ensures daily staffing ratios are met.
- Keeps and maintains all schedules, reports and records in a neat and orderly manner.
- Assist and represent staffing in the new hire orientation process and timecard processing.
- Continuously analyzes facility schedules to review open shifts and fill shifts with facility staff.
- Schedules and coordinates on call staff to meet emergency staffing needs.
- Assists in the human resources function including processing of timesheet for payroll and benefit time.
- Performs daily staffing analysis by comparing actual hours worked, escort hours, and orientation, in-service/education hours.
- Completes daily summary sheet to review hours per patient day and communicates to the Director of Nursing any staffing concerns/issues.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Education: Post High School business courses and/or college business coursework preferred.
Required Skills: Excellent time management skills, verbal and written communication skills and organization skills, Proficient in Word, Excel, database management and other software applications, knowledge of Kronos Timekeeper, Advanced Scheduler and preferred along with Microsoft Outlook proficiency.
Work Experience: Minimum of two year’s experience in health care scheduling experience, performing scheduling, staffing, payroll, and/or human resource management related experience.

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
