Customer Success Billing & Coding Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Review Billing Logic: Assess and refine the billing logic for RPM, CCM, PCM, and BHI services to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Consult on Specialty Practices: Provide expert consultation on specialty practices and identify the appropriate DX10 codes that qualify patients for services.
- Determine Weighting Logic: Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement weighting logic for primary billing codes to optimize billing processes.
- Create Clinic-Specific Billing Processes: Partner with clinics and billing companies to design and establish customized billing processes that meet the specific needs of each clinic.
- Customer Support: Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to billing and coding, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
- Training and Education: Conduct training sessions for clinic staff and billing teams on best practices in medical billing and coding.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all billing and coding activities are compliant with regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of quality assurance.
- Data Analysis: Analyze billing data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical billing and coding, with a focus on customer success or support roles.
- Certification: Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent certification is required.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of DX10 codes and billing logic for RPM, CCM, PCM, and BHI services.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
- Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in medical billing.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with specialty practices.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and billing software.
- Ability to create and deliver training materials and sessions.
