Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for our clients
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Conduct bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of transactions
- Process accounts payable and ensure timely payment of invoices
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Provide support for audits and tax filings
- Stay updated on technical accounting standards and regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial management
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Proficient in account reconciliation techniques
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Ability to create and manage budgets effectively
- Familiarity with technical accounting concepts and practices
- Solid understanding of governmental accounting principles (preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis
