POSITION SUMMARY:
The E-Commerce Shipping Clerk is responsible for locating, packing and shipping of Shop Goodwill items have been purchased by our customers on the Shopgoodwill site along with other material handling and processing functions as needed.

Locating of items that have been purchased

Packing of sold items in a manner that will ensure the safe and secure arrival of the item to its destination with no damage.

Assist with inventory management and return of unsold goods to the original store

Locate and process the daily pick-up orders

Assist with customers claims related to shipping

Performs necessary record keeping pertaining to daily activities and other reports as needed in a neat and legible manner.

Responsible to perform housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness of processing area, interior and exterior of the facility.

Accurately documents production and meets company standards for commercial salvage processing.
-
Complies with Safety and Loss Prevention policies and procedures.
-
Report and document safety hazards, potentially hazardous conditions, and unsafe practices and procedures.
-
Maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Attends meetings and training sessions as required.
-
Follow safety policies and procedures and enforce safe working conditions at all times.

Responsible to work safely at all times and to report all workplace injuries, accidents, or near misses to supervisor and/or Safety Manager.

Report any incident of theft, fraud, waste or unauthorized possession of company property.

Perform other duties as assigned that would lead to successful operation of department, team and/or mission.

Education and/or Experience:
Basic mathematical skills and the ability to read English. Intermediate knowledge of computers, keyboarding, and photography.
Language Skills: Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, managers, employees, clients, customers, and the general public using tact, courtesy and cooperativeness.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables; exercise judgment, resourcefulness, ingenuity and initiative.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Effective interpersonal and communications skills to interact effectively with all levels of management and staff. Proficient skills in common accounting and Microsoft software; willingness and ability to become an in-house expert on those systems preferred. Ability to operate office equipment, including computer, telephone, cell phone, tablet, fax and copy machine. Must exhibit a high level of integrity and business ethics.
