Assembly Technician

General Expectations:
In the performance of their respective tasks and duties all Cvi employees are expected to:
- Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
- Interact professionally with other employees, customers, and suppliers.
- Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
- Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and functions.
- Supports company Quality program & personnel management directives.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
- Use tools to make or repair parts and products.
- Interpret technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions.
- Perform equipment assembly according to engineering drawings & work instructions.
- Work with other team members to assemble products.
- Keep a clean and tidy workspace.
- Meet all safety requirements of the company, including use of any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Identify any defective items and handle them according to established procedures.
- Ability to use reason to solve problems as they arise.
- Monitor the functioning of all equipment and report any problems or substandard condition to the supervisor.
- Accurately process work orders and parts physically and electronically using the company’s ERP system
- Conduct product testing and performance testing and record results.
- Perform final calibration and advanced adjustments using testing instruments.
- Prepare product for shipping, packaging according to customer request.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
