The Role
Aquarian Holdings is looking for an exceptional individual to join our team as an IT Support Specialist. This role is responsible for providing technical support and managing the services of our external IT service provider. In collaboration with leadership and the service provider, the specialist maintains and evolves the hardware and software infrastructure ensuring that business needs are met. The ideal candidate is a technically knowledgeable, resourceful, problem solver who demonstrates high attention to detail and an ability to proactively manage and track large scale projects as well as day-to-day tasks.
Specific responsibilities of the role include:

Act as a main point of contact for on-site IT questions

Work with IT service provider to provide ongoing troubleshooting, customer service, and IT support for all employees

Provide guidance and support to users on basic software applications, system access, and IT policies
-
Educate users on best practices for data security, password management, and general IT-related topics

Perform administrative tasks in various systems (Office365, phone system, etc.)

Provide direction to IT service provider for configuration and deployment of laptops and peripherals for new hires

Conduct the IT onboarding session with new hires

Maintain asset inventory and procure new hardware as needed

Solve hardware logistical concerns as needed

Maintain and troubleshoot A/V meeting and conferencing equipment

Assist with IT security protocols and execution as directed

Assist with testing and deploying new software tools and solutions

Train users on new or updated hardware and software

Execute, develop, and maintain documentation
We desire the following qualities in all candidates:

Experience with troubleshooting desktop PC hardware such as monitors, laptops, and peripherals

Familiarity with IT office equipment, networking, firewalls, and AV integrations.

Experience troubleshooting and managing Microsoft Office 365, Windows 10, Apple iPhones, and Azure Cloud and active directory

Fundamental understanding of cyber security and IT risk management

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical user

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a logical approach to issue resolution

Comfortable troubleshooting and supporting Tier 1 through Tier 3 incidents
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to support executive team members with professionalism and empathy

Ability to quickly learn and integrate new concepts and 3rd party software tools (i.e. MS Office, SaaS, Zoom, Cisco AnyConnect)

Proven ability to prioritize and work independently for assigned tasks as well as working collaboratively in a team environment

Proven experience managing IT projects, including project planning, execution, and delivery within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.

Demonstrated ability to lead/mentor/manage team members utilizing coaching techniques and driving teams performance.
Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field required

5+ years of related work experience
