Servers possess the knowledge of food, cocktails and wine. This person uplifts the dining experience for members and guests. We are looking for someone who has a pleasant attitude, strong work ethics and perseverance to thrive in this role. This person’s responsibilities include greeting and serving members, providing detailed information on menus, multi-tasking various front-of-the-house duties and cleaning the tables. If you are able perform well in fast-paced environments, we would like to meet you. To be a successful part of the food and beverage team you should be polite with our members and make sure they enjoy their meals.
Due to the nature of the hospitality business operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, no set work schedule is guaranteed. Schedules are subject to modification based on business volume and demand.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Greet and escort members to their tables.
- Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
- Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses.
- Inform members about the day’s specials
- Offer menu recommendations upon request
- Take accurate food and drinks orders, using POS ordering software and order slips.
- Communicate order details to the Kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drink orders.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Constantly moving furniture.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential:
- Proven work experience as a server, busser, food runner and/or cocktailer.
- Hands-on experience with ordering information system (e.g. POS)
- Attentiveness and patience
- Excellent presentation skills
- Active listening and effective communication skills
Preferred:
- High School Diploma
- Food Safety Training
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Sitting, standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, twisting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, grasping: stand for long periods of time; stoop, bend, squat, climb, kneel, twist at the neck and waist, reach above and below shoulder level, push and pull including mops, vacuum cleaners, other equipment.
Lifting: lift up to 35 lbs.
