Certified Behavior Technician/Autism Therapist: Working with children with Autism and other developmental disabilities using the techniques of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
No travel required: Center based therapy means you do not have to drive across town to see different clients.
Entry-level position
No experience necessary, all training provided, we will teach you the way!
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Guaranteed hours! Monday-Friday 1pm-6pm.

POSITION:
We are looking for part-time ABA Therapists at the therapeutic office in Irving, TX.
Therapists are responsible for working directly with young children with autism and other developmental disabilities by implementing student programming determined by the BCBA.
In addition, therapists collect and record data, graph student progress and participate in ongoing staff training.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implementation of direct therapy using basic ABA principles.
Collect and record data during direct therapy sessions and graph student progress.
Participate in staff training.
QUALIFICATIONS:
ABAT or RBT certification required, Don't have one? No worries!! We can help you get yours!
Applied Behavior Analysis experience and knowledge is preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental disabilities is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience working with children is preferred but not mandatory.
High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
Energetic and a team player.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Able to sit, stand, walk, and kneel for long periods of time.
Able to follow written and verbal instructions and express oneself verbally and in writing clearly.
To become an ABAT, one must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Possess a minimum of a high school diploma or national equivalent
- Must have completed 40 hours of approved assessment-based ABA coursework (including 3 hours in Ethics and 5 hours in Autism Core Knowledge)
- 15 hours of supervised fieldwork
- Recommendation from their supervisor
- Criminal background check
- Successful passing of accredited exam
- Agree to the QABA Code of Ethics and all renewal requirements
- Renewed every 2 years
To become an RBT, one must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Complete 40 hours of BACB-approved training
- Pass a background check
- Complete a competency assessment
- Pass the RBT examination
- Renewed annually
