Team player, with a passion for customer service. An upbeat personality. An individual with basic computer skills who will use his/her relationship across the hotel to anticipate and deliver on guests’ needs. The Front Desk Clerk must demonstrate and promote a strong commitment to create a unique and personalized guest experience. Speak fluent English. Able to work flexible hours based on business needs (weekends and evenings).
KEY JOB DUTIES
- Hotel front office experience required.
- Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
- Maintain complete knowledge at all times of all hotel features/services, hours of operation, daily house count and expected arrivals/departures.
- Count your drawer to ensure the correct amount of money assigned to you is at hand before starting your shift. Keep your drawer secure at all times.
- Process all payments according to established hotel requirements.
- Answering phones.
- Providing information about the hotel and services, answering guest questions and taking reservations.
- Welcoming our guests, extending recognition to our loyal guests and military members.
- Providing an accurate and efficient check in/check out process in accordance with company guidelines and procedures, ensuring proper credit is received, special requests are noted and fulfilled, and accurate information is established.
- Perform courtesy calls.
- Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas
