Program Manager Job Summary:
- Manage the program efforts for the evolution of existing and new ancillary aircraft products and small and large scale integration projects
- Leads the various phases of program design, manufacturing, testing, certification, and program sustainment
- Coordinate with OEMs, Suppliers/Vendors, & the FAA in conjunction with internal and external customers supporting the design and evolution of aircraft and customer facing products
- Develop and maintain awareness of pertinent industry activities and technology trends that drives continuous improvement to both process and products.
- Establish work prioritization and balances multiple concurrent projects.
- Responsible for on-time deliverables that are within scope and change requests as customer requirements evolve.
- Identify potential schedule and work scope risks, develop, and manage mitigation plans.
Program Manager Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field including engineering, math, finance, business or marketing preferred, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Candidate must be able to successfully execute and manage the scope, schedule and budget of divisional and cross-divisional projects.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, proactive, and able to work under pressure and time constraints.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time.
