Retail Assistant/Warehouse Operative is essential in supporting retail operations and warehouse logistics, ensuring seamless customer service and efficient inventory management.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with professionalism and courtesy.
- Provide detailed product information, address inquiries, and facilitate sales transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the retail area.
- Monitor and replenish inventory levels on store shelves as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders.
- Unload, unpack, and store merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Prepare orders for shipment by accurately picking, packing, and labeling items.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and assist with cycle counts as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse setting.
- Strictly adhere to safety protocols and uphold warehouse operational standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in basic computer skills, including POS systems and inventory management software.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
