The RN in this position will work as a member of a specialized team whose goal is to assist individuals in maintaining successful community placement in various settings. Provide assessments and recommend interventions/options for residents in ECS contracted settings in Spokane County. Consult with operators and staff of residential care facilities in the development and implementation of mental and behavioral health needs of the individual. Assist with developing and implementing training for direct care staff of ECS Residential care facilities in the provision and implementation of these programs. Work with clients identifying mental health and behavioral issues, developing interventions and a Behavioral Support Plan for the ECS client. Working with the Residential facility staff providing training, coaching on the Behavior Support Plan that will target behaviors that might put the client at risk of placement, assisting both the facility and the ECS client in maintaining their place.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes but are not limited to the following:
- Development of Behavioral Support, Intervention, Goal Planning as well as crisis interventions for the ECS client.
- Observe and provide direction to care providers in the direct on-site treatment of residents in facility based ECS programs.
- Participate in planning and delivering educational programs to ECS health care providers.
- Provide advocacy services to obtain community support, rehabilitation services, crisis care and medical treatment for ECS clients.
- Participate in the monthly HCS/ECS meeting as designated by HCS.
- Participate in monthly OP Nursing Services meetings
- Maintain and enhance customer service to ensure that both external and internal customers have a positive experience of the FBH.
- Comply with all state WAC requirements and FBH policies and procedures.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with community care providers and hospital staff.
- Establish and maintain a good working relationship with all FBH staff.
- Perform FBH charting requirements, correspondence, and other paperwork in a complete and timely manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:
REQUIRED:
- Three (3) years’ experience in the direct treatment of those with behavioral and mental health issues specifically with experience working with individuals that have chronic persistent mental illness preferred.
- Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Washington.
KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of psychotropic medications, their usage and side effects.
- Must have reliable transportation, insurance and an active drivers’ license and be willing to use personal vehicle in the course of work.

PAY RANGE (Salary/Exempt): $82,386.88 - $100,370.85*
*All pay is based on longevity at Frontier Behavioral Health; thus, the starting pay is $82,386.88 annually.
