Position: Logistics Coordinator

Position Overview:
Manage and coordinate companywide logistics inbound and outbound transportation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage, schedule, and coordinate companywide logistics for all methods of inbound and outbound transportation including trucking, air freight and ocean freight
- Preparing shipping documentation for shipments promptly and accurately
- Identify cost variations in carrier rates, ancillary charges, damage claims, and other expense categories making decisions that emphasize continuous cost and efficiency improvements
- Responsible for all import and export licensing requirements
- Assist in analyzing logistics data, manage and measure logistics processes including shipping, distribution, carrier activity (cost and service) and damaged products claims
- Assist in developing logistics strategies and practices that are compliant with the company brand of outstanding quality and service
Core Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 5 year’s relevant international shipping and logistics experience and /or training: or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must understand and have familiarity with ECCN, HTS, INCOTERMS, and NAFTA
- Experience working with U.S and International export licensing requirements and compliance
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work in a team-oriented fast paced environment
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem skills: attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ERP Systems
- Knowledge of U.S and foreign export control requirements. U.S. Sanctions and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines in a timely manner
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: the ability to interface effectively at all levels both internally and externally
