Experience running the front of house and overseeing the back of house in a supervisor capacity is a must. This location is new including 30,000 sq feet new dog turf, over 100 luxury boarding accommodations, and a fancy bone shaped pool just for the dogs! Shifts vary between 4-6 hours and some days you may be asked to work two shifts with a one hour lunch in between. (The first shift runs from 6:30-12:30pm and second shift is from 1:30-7:00pm; the ideal candidate has the availability to work either shift.) Must be open to working all holidays and weekends as those are our busy times.
Compensation: $ $14-15/hour ( $2/hr -$6/hr in tip pool and bathing tips)
Daily tasks include:
-Opening or closing facility without supervision providing oversight and delegation to kennel staff caring for pets
-Providing supervision and assistance to our daycare staff in yards with their play groups for up to 30 dogs per person
-Facilitating & leading our staff in daily care for dogs in boarding (including feeding, administering mediation, taking out for walks and activities among other tasks).
-Cross Trained to work the front desk checking in /out dogs, scheduling, and other admin duties
-Bathing, drying, and brushing dogs on a daily basis
-Maintaining cleanliness of our play yards and facility by following a daily checklist
-Minimizing the stress of the dogs and staff by providing effective leadership and being responsive to the teams needs
-Maintaining accurate records in Gingr , creating report cards for pets, and completing checklists and other reports
-Working as a member of a team in a fast paced environment by using effective communication skills with customers and the team including written communication with other team members and managers

The ideal candidate:
-has 2+ years experience in dog daycare, boarding facility and training and bathing dogs
-supervisory experience of 1+ years in boarding & daycare or vet demonstrating oversight of opening and closing
-is a high school graduate (or has their GED).
-has excellent written and oral communication skills.
-is self-motivated and can work independently.
-has a proven ability to follow instructions and learn new things.
-takes initiative on the job.
-has open availability, can work weekdays, weekends and holidays
-is able and willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions and be on ones feet for long periods of time.
-has 3+ years previous work experience demonstrating dependability.
