- San Francisco: $108,000 to $132,000/annually
- Seattle: $93,000 to $113,000/annually

Position Overview:
As a Senior Accountant/Accounting Supervisor, you will work with clients around the world to prepare taxes and answer questions about accounting and other business issues. Every day, you will respond to questions, research complex areas of international tax law, and navigate how cross-border transactions translate to US tax law for our small and medium-sized business clients. The Senior Accountant/Accounting Supervisor must be proactive in researching complex compliances matters and providing relevant consultations to ensure deadlines and the needs of clients are met. Provide support to team members and positively contribute to the office culture and client experience. This position is an excellent fit for a Senior Accountant/Accounting Supervisor with tax experience seeking an opportunity within a growing firm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must be able to greet clients with a positive, helpful attitude.
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, and fiduciary tax returns.
- Draft client correspondence and other formal documents to IRS and State.
- Organize and maintain client database and client files.
- Provide exceptional customer service and provide relevant consultations to clients as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality with personal and sensitive data.
- Continue ongoing education by participating in webinars, workshops, and seminars.
- Able to work in fast paced environment.
- Train, supervise, coordinate, and/or evaluate staff.
- Ability to research complex compliance issues.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Extensive knowledge of financial accounting, applicable tax laws, and deadlines.
- Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
- Preparing complex federal and state income tax returns. Experience with international disclosures preferred.
- Highly proficient with accounting software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Detail-orientated.
- ProSystem (fx) Tax, preferred.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Current state licensure as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
- Three years or more of accounting experience required. Preferred in a tax accounting firm.
