Receiving Clerk

The Receiving Clerk is responsible for checking in all incoming product and guest packages. This person is also responsible for shipping packages and in house needs.
This is an hourly position starting at $20.28 an hour.

Responsibilities:
- Support the Assistant Purchasing Director with sourcing and procuring of goods and services required by the hotel, including food and beverage items.
- Evaluate, select and create strong relationships with suppliers, and monitor their performance.
- Implement inventory management best practices and conduct regular inventory audits.
- Work closely with department heads to understand their specific requirements and ensure timely delivery of requested items.
- Receive & ensure all purchased goods meet the hotel's high-quality standards and specifications.
- Oversight of the hotel’s storeroom including working as part of a team to check-in, put away all hotel food and beverage deliveries, and efficiently complete daily requisitions.
- Leads all hotel receiving of product, and internal and guest packages including shipping & delivering packages to the various departments throughout the hotel, and receiving invoices and packing information electronically through the hotel’s online procurement system.
- Work with Assistant Purchasing Director to complete additional tasks as required.
This person must have a positive, can-do, and helpful attitude. They should be comfortable multi-tasking, working under tight deadlines and interacting with a variety of constituents including senior leadership, fellow team members, guests and delivery personnel.
