We are seeking an individual who has experience in the underground utility industry and can assist our manager in our busy construction office. The ideal candidate would have three years of experience in supporting construction administration and a strong understanding of industry best practices. Responsibilities
Please keep in mind the following tasks:
· Assist the Equipment manager in creating project schedules and communicating project updates.
· Telephone, e-mail, or otherwise contact vendors to order parts and equipment.
· Prepare memos, correspondence, reports, permits, and other documents.
· Perform a variety of tasks to obtain financial data for use in equipment acquisition and disposal.
· Compile and sort documents.
· Help in obtaining necessary paperwork and required Equipment and construction documents.
· Maintain accurate work logs of Vehicles and Equipment activities along with job information sheets
· Oversee construction equipment, administration, and submittal log processes to ensure document requirements are met throughout the construction process.
· Assist with quality control of equipment and sustain measures to ensure compliance.
· Compile the closeout package, including maintenance agreements, equipment information, warranties, and contractor contact information
· Trucking and equipment tracking maintenance.
· Document management: Organize, file, and maintain project documents, and update digital databases
· Verify and summarize details of business transactions/statements.
· Prepare numerous reports and summaries as required by management.
· Generate purchase orders and work orders for repairs. Enter equipment meter readings, daily inspection sheets, and fuel usage.
· Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written) and work with difficult people under high-stress situations. Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations and act courteous/respectful of others.
· Troubleshoot and problem-solve situations/problems (material quality, equipment operation/repair, etc.).
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.87 - $22.73 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
