Prescient Technologies, a service-disabled veteran owned small business, is seeking a highly skilled, knowledgeable, and self-motivated Language and Cultural Services Program Manager to support a government contract. Our ideal candidate will be dedicated to achieving and maintaining a high level of professionalism and will have a strong background in linguistics, cross-cultural communication, and program management.
This role involves coordinating and managing language-related initiatives, ensuring effective communication across diverse cultural contexts, and fostering an inclusive environment.
The responsibilities of the Program Manager include but are not limited to:
- Manage a team with a diverse variety of talents, cultural and linguistic backgrounds, and responsibilities.
- Effectively manage large annual budget projects while demonstrating an efficient use of resources.
- Develop and maintain a continuous quality improvement program for all staff under the contract, including an evaluation method to assess strengths and areas for improvement.
- Ensure quality assurance focused on the consistency of retained translators, interpreters, and mentors and on interfaces with the client.
- Ensure excellent, high quality customer service, safety, and team member performance.
- Monitor successes and setbacks, resolving issues and initiating corrective actions as appropriate.
- Ensure the delivery of new products or services is of the appropriate level of quality, on time, and within the contract's scope.
- Manage the budget and monitor expenditures.
- Manage communication with stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates and complete weekly and monthly reports.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of four (4) years working in language and cultural services or in a related field.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of project and program management experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics, Human Services, or a Language related field required.
- Must possess exceptional communication skills, both orally and written.
- Must have experience managing projects with multimillion-dollar annual budgets.
- Familiarity with a variety of language service modalities, including interpretation and translation.
- Must possess well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with members from a variety of backgrounds.
