Very Personal Training is a boutique, award-winning body-neutral personal training studio in Park Slope, Brooklyn, focused on shifting the conversation away from counting calories, diets, and size.
We are looking for an empathetic, personable --yet firm-- professional trainer to train in the studio as well as client's homes (this isn't a common occurrence, but may come up from time to time). You must be sensitive to body image and eating issues, and be grounded in a healthy lifestyle.
Schedule is flexible, however you must have availability at least 3 mornings (6/6:30am start time) per week, two afternoon/evening hours, and be able to train one day of the weekend (flexible which day). Most sessions are taking place in our studio, however some are in-home or virtual.
We are looking for someone who is a self-starter and really wants to be part of our team. You must be poised, punctual, educated, professional, have a positive attitude, attention to detail, and have a strong passion for connecting with people.
At least 1 year experience preferred.
You MUST hold a nationally accredited personal training certification, and be up-to-date on CPR.
