Job Title: General Manager
Association Location: Alexandria, Virginia
Salary Range: Salary depends on experience and industry credentials.

Total of 492 units, gated community, and on-site staff and maintenance.
Synopsis
The General Manager works closely with the Portfolio Manager and the Board of Directors to oversee the Association's daily operations, which include managing an annual operating budget of over $3 million and supervising a team of four employees. This role requires an enthusiastic, persuasive leader who proactively manages the Association's customer service and supports a seven-member Board of Directors and owners.
Responsibilities
To plan, implement, and manage all administrative and operational aspects of the Condominium to achieve a best-in-class residential experience for a well-maintained building and financially sound operation.
Qualifications
Candidates must have at least five years of experience in association management.
A college degree and Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) certification are preferred—Minimum Association Management Specialist (AMS) certification.
Experience managing staff and oversight of service providers.
Ability to lead staff associates.
Fully knowledgeable of Building Link or similar systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to compose memos, letters, emails, and other written communications.
Possess working knowledge of budgets, assets, cash balance, availability of funds for projects, cash flow management for capital improvements, and fiduciary responsibility.
