Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lightspeed POS Developer and Administrator to join our team. As a Lightspeed POS Developer and Administrator, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our Lightspeed POS system, ensuring its smooth operation and optimal functionality.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize the Lightspeed POS system to meet the specific needs of our business
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement new features
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or bugs in the system
- Perform regular system maintenance, including updates and backups
- Optimize system performance and ensure data integrity
- Create and maintain technical documentation for the Lightspeed POS system
- Provide training and support to end-users as needed
Experience:
- Strong experience with SVN for version control
- Proficiency in working with APIs, particularly integrating third-party applications with the Lightspeed POS system
- Solid understanding of SQL databases, including writing complex queries and optimizing database performance
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services for hosting and deploying applications
- Knowledge of Python programming language for scripting and automation tasks
- Experience with RESTful API development and consumption
- Previous software development experience is highly desirable
- Quantum engineering knowledge is a plus
- Familiarity with React Express framework for building user interfaces is a plus
- Experience working with MySQL databases is a plus
