SUMMARY
The Inventory Specialist oversees all Inventory procedures and processes both on site and at our third-party warehousing facility to maintain inventory integrity at all times.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Monitor and oversee all procedures that impact inventory controls
- Review and maintain departmental metrics/KPIs as directed
- Establish and maintain proper cycle counting schedules both on site and at third-party warehousing facilities
- Communicate with the Production and Warehouse supervisors on all shifts to make sure that procedures are being followed
- Perform Root Cause Analysis investigation on stock outs and cycle counts
- Create AD HOC reports as required to support process improvement
- Provide weekly recap reports based on departmental metrics/KPIs
- Reliability and attendance – begin work on time and conform to work hours and schedule unless arrangements have been made with a supervisor or manager.

- Other duties and/or projects as assigned by Inventory and Continuous Improvement Supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing/warehousing environment
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management or a similar discipline
- Knowledge of standard Inventory control practices
- Able to create and modify AD HOC repots
- Strong analytic skills and a knowledge of organizational structure, workflow and operating procedures
- Able to communicate with all levels of the organization
- Computer literate in MS Word and Excel
- SAP and Lean Manufacturing experience preferred
- Able to work well independently and with others
- Well developed organizational and time management skills
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Able to multi-task, respond to rapid change; organize, prioritize, and perform work with minimal supervision
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.50 - $20.00 per hour
