Responsibilities:
- Greeting patients in person or on the phone, creating a welcoming and friendly
environment.
- Scheduling appointments and handling emergency requests via text and phone.
- Checking patients in and out in a professional and timely manner.
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Therapist and Practice Manager.
- Ensuring an exceptional patient experience by addressing patient needs and concerns.
- Following health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe environment for patients/staff.
- Maintaining and updating patient records accurately and confidentially.
- Managing office supplies and ensuring the front desk area is organized.
- Handling minimal billing and insurance processing as required.
- Assisting with patient intake and preparation of necessary documentation.
- Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
- Enthusiastic about helping children and adults.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding telephone manner with the ability to handle high call volumes.
- Strong computer literacy, with proficiency in Gmail and G-suite.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to proprietary software.
- Works effectively in a team environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Maternity Leave Coverage:
- Position begins July 29 and continues until November 1, with the potential for extension.
Hours:
- Tuesday: 8:30 am – 6:30 pm
- Wednesday: 8:30 am – 6:30 pm
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.85 - $17.49 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
