Culinaire is hiring a RESTAURANT MANAGER to head the operations at the newly renovated Omaha Steakhouse and Bar. The Omaha Steakhouse is located in Uptown Altamonte.
This position directs and organizes the daily activities of the operation to elevate high standards in quality, service and merchandising. Provides Leadership to management team and provide timely follow up that exceeds customer expectations and company standards.
Managerial and Business Skills
- Past experience in leadership of a new restaurant opening.
- Clear and concise written and verbal skills. Heavy client interaction required
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Micro Soft Word and Excel programs
- Strong experience in managing OpenTable reservation system and Toast POS system.

Technical Requirements

- Must have excellent hospitality customer service skills and the ability to deal with internal and external customers in a tactful and diplomatic manner
- Must have strong decision making skills, results driven, does not wait for supervisors to tell them what to do
- Must be self-motivated high energy and passionate about the food and beverage industry A teacher of standards and service and the importance of consistent execution
- Successful track record of training and managing in a hospitality setting
- Instills safety and sanitation habits in all associates
- Current on new products, presentations and service techniques
- Must have strong knowledge of fine dining restaurant service.
- Must be able to handle multiple task
- Must prepare staffing guidelines and sales forecast to ensure budgetary goals are met
- Must be able to prepare weekly forecast of revenues, labor cost and expenses to ensure financial goals are met
- Provide leadership and work closely with Operations, Catering and Culinary departments within the Denver Art Museum to ensure all events meet the highest level of expectation.
