Busy retina specialist practice is seeking an ophthalmic photographer who is looking to expand their knowledge and gain valuable work experience. Our ideal candidate is an innovative and motivated individual who enjoys a fast paced work environment.
We currently have five locations in the North Jersey area; Ramsey, Teaneck, Bloomfield, North Bergen, Wayne and Union. Our offices are equipped with the newest ophthalmic imaging equipment which include Zeiss OCT, Zeiss Visucam, Heidelberg Spectralis, and Optos California. Ophthalmic photographers are responsible for providing the highest quality ophthalmic patient care possible. The individual is responsible for performing accurate ophthalmic digital photographs as per the ordering physician. She/he will need to provide superior customer service for all patients.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform ophthalmic photography including OCT, OCTA fundus photos, red-free imaging, and auto fluorescence imaging.
- Perform fluorescein angiography.
- Perform ICG angiography.
- Perform OCT imaging.
- Perform additional testing such as Visual Field testing, VEP, and ERG
- Perform photographs for various studies and protocols for research.
- Mask, label and upload images to reading centers.
- Ensure proper cleaning of all photography equipment.
- Demonstrate understanding of specific images to capture based on patient’s pathology/diagnosis.
- Experience in Research photography preferred.
