We are an Opthamology Ambulatory Surgery Center seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receptionist/Scheduler to join our team. As the first point of contact for our company, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong computer literacy, and the ability to multitask effectively. We are open Monday- Thursday 7am-5pm. No holidays, or weekends!
Duties:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate person or department
- Provide general administrative support, including data entry, filing, and document preparation
-Able to communicate with various clinics
-Perform all duties within HIPPA regulations
- Assist with scheduling of surgical procedures
- Manage office supplies and inventory
- Adhere to company policy and procedures during all activities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification is a plus
- Proven experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant is preferred
- Proficient in using computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Professional demeanor with the ability to maintain confidentiality
