Controller- (CPA Required)
Position Summary:
As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning. This pivotal role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and management expertise to lead our finance team effectively.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise accounting staff, including financial operations, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts on a regular basis.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Manage cash flow and forecasting; oversee cash, investment, and asset management.
- Coordinate and oversee annual audit activities.
- Monitor financial performance and provide strategic financial guidance to senior management.
- Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.
- Lead the budgeting and planning process.
- Assess and manage financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
- Manage relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) -current required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
- Strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a supervisory role overseeing a team of accounting professionals.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting software and financial reporting systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to stakeholders at all levels.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Salary:$170-$200k annually.
