Gymnastics Instructor/Class Coach - Summer Gymnastics Camp
Monday-Friday: 8am - 1pm
Are you an experienced gymnastics coach, or competitive gymnast with a desire to share your expertise with those eager to learn? Do you have sports, dance, or cheer experience and have interest in coaching gymnastics? If so, this may be the summer opportunity you've been looking for!
As an instructor for the summer program, you will guide gymnasts in the proper techniques and disciplines of the sport while promoting a fun and welcoming environment.
The Gymnastics Instructor is a dynamic individual who comes to work with a smile and genuinely enjoys working with participants. From the gymnastics arena, you will bring your knowledge, skills, and leadership to effectively communicate with and guide athletes in proper gymnastics techniques. The instructor also ensures a safe and enthusiastic sporting environment in which the athletes thrive.

Some additional duties for the Gymnastics Summer Camp Instructor include, but are not limited to:
- Keep accurate class attendance records and follow up with supervisor as needed regarding attendance and/or gymnast’s progress.
- Know, understand, and consistently apply safety rules, policies, and guidelines for the gymnastics training areas.
- Communicate with all participants regarding activities in a timely manner.
- Work closely with Gymnastics Director and other staff to ensure proper class management and instruction.
Qualifications:
- Professional, friendly, effective verbal and written communication skills
- 1-3 Years Gymnastics Coaching experience or Gymnastics competition experience with the desire to coaching the sport. Experience in similar sport considered.
- Punctual and reliable with ability to fulfill all coaching responsibilities.
- Must possess auditory, verbal, and visual capabilities to monitor environment effectively.
Working Conditions:
- Sit, stand, or maintain physical activity for extended periods of time, including continuous physical endurance between 1-4 hours.
- Frequently required to climb, kneel, reach, push, balance, crouch, pull, grasp, stoop, crawl, lift and talk.
- Subject to moderate noise levels.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
