· programs the laser systems to remove the unique patterns of polycrystalline diamond from each crystal
· cleans the diamond crystals using solvents and air-etch ovens
· inspects the rough cored crystals to ensure accurate removal of polycrystalline · measures and weighs the crystals
· records results and laser parameters in appropriate computer logs
· returns the rough cored crystals to the operations manager
Laser equipment cleaning and routine maintenance will also be expected. This includes filter replacement, laser workstation cleaning, and periodic review and tuning settings.
